What this question means for producers

Content ID revenue is separate from Spotify recording revenue. An annual upload subscription, a fingerprinting fee and a revenue commission are different charges. Check the relevant plan and track eligibility before opting in. A beat with non-exclusive leases or third-party samples can create conflicting claims; paying a fee does not prove that you control all the necessary rights. Do not assume that delivery to YouTube Music also enrols a recording in Content ID.
